Transport from Girona airport:
Taxi
The taxi rank is located at the exit of the airport. The distance is 33 km and the cost is 48 euros (aprox.) per journey. There may be a supplement for luggage, holidays or night services.
Bus
The bus stop is located next to the arrivals terminal. You should take a Barcelona Bus to Girona Station and then another one from Moventis/Sarfa to Platja d'Aro. The hotel is 1.5 km from the Bus Station.
By car
Leaving the airport, take the C-25 road towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols- Platja d'Aro. At Cassà de la Selva, take road C-65 towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols-Platja d'Aro. When you arrive to Santa Cristina d'Aro, continue on the C-31 towards Platja d'Aro. Take exit 314 towards GI-662 to town centre. You will enter through Avinguda Castell d'Aro. At the second roundabout, take the first exit on Carrer Juli Garreta, until you reach a roundabout, take the first exit at Avinguda S'Agaró. Continue on Avenida S'Agaró and at the first roundabout take the third exit onto Carrer San Sebastià, turn right onto Calle Onze de Setembre. A few meters, turn right into Pasaje Bolívar. En general bien, pero el horario de la cena se debería alargar un poco más, para aquellas personas que no somos guiris. Hasta las 22h almenos.

lhôtel est accueillant , le personnel est sympathique et disponible, les chambres sont bien aménagées et bien entretenues.Lemplacement situé dans un endroit calme,dommage que la vue sur la mer soit gâchée par deux vilaines énormes tours. Les repas sont variés mais la cuisine espagnole est inexistante! La réservation parking me semble un peu excessif. Nous pensons y revenir.

Llevo 11 años yendo al hotel y me encanta, le han hecho bastantes mejoras, y creo que poco a poco irán habiendo más. La limpieza un 10 Antonia la mejor sin duda. La comida estupenda, aunque el bufet es pequeño, es muy variado, Fernando de 10 también. En general todo el personal está muy cualificado. La pena es la animación, hace unos años atrás, había cada noche algo, ahora sólo había un chico y el pobre no tenía recursos suficientes por parte del hotel como para hacer una buena animación. Pero sus ganas eran inmensas. Seguiré repitiendo sin dudarlo, a parte, está suuuuper cerca de la playa!!

Nous avons passé ma femme et moi 10 excellents jours à lhotel Monterrey de Playa de Aro. Personnel au top,propreté super,rien à redire.lemplacement vis-à vis de la mer est super.Cest notre deuxiéme séjour en Septembre,et nous y reviendrons lannée 2024 pour une dizaine de jours.Un grand merci à Hernan,le responsablegestionnaire de la restauration.
