This elegant complex of Bungalows VELÁZQUEZ, located on the same shore of Puerto del Carmen beach, in Lanzarote, is a fabulous project of the famous artist Cesar Manrique, with which he achieves a perfect integration between architecture and nature, since this fascinating construction does not It rises above Avda. de Las Playas. About Bungalows Velázquez
The complex was designed by the renowned international artist César Manrique, Data of the year 1981, and maintains, despite the annual reforms outside and inside the bungalows for the improvement of its service, the traditional image of 32 white small bungalows and terraces with green carpentry at the edge of the sea.
From the complex you can access some small beaches, and right next to it, 50 meters away is the famous large beach of Puerto del Carmen, plenty of water activities.
In front of Velázquez, and along the entire Main Avenue next to the beaches, you can find restaurants, shops, bars, pharmacies, buses and taxis , etc. Easy access by walk to all these places
The bungalows have a solarium, sun beds and umbrellas, a children's pool separated from one for adults. Both fresh water and heated in the winter. Access to the adult pool is enhanced by a small locked gate for the safety of children.

All bungalows are non smoking.
Prohibited barbecues, parties and / or celebrations
Reception with limited hours (09: 00-13: 00) & (17: 00-19: 00). You should always contact it to inform about flight and arrival time to organize the collect of keys and open the access gate to the complex.
Security guard all night.
Pets are not allowed in the Complex.

There are 3 types of bungalows in Velázquez, all with fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom, (All with Shower), lounge and terrace with furniture:
Bungalow with 2 bedrooms, (1 double bed + 2 twin beds). Maximum 4 people + 1 baby. (Babies are considered from 0 to 1.99 years. From 2 years on wards the child must sleep in bed). Maximum 1 baby cot per bungalow
Bungalow with 1 bedroom, (2 twin beds). Maximum 2 people + 1 baby, (Babies are considered from 0 to 1.99 years. From 2 years the child muust sleep in bed). Maximum 1 baby cot per bungalow
Duplex Suite with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, Maximum 5 people. (1 double bed + 2 twin beds). It also has a third extra bed for adults or children over 11 years old. The Suite does not allow children under 11 years old and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility because there is an spiral staircase that connects the two floors of the Suite.

We like it so much we have stayed four times in Bungalows Velazquez. The location is ideal, right next to the edge of the sea, it is set down below the street level where with lots of shops and bars, and also only a short stroll the beach. Despite its location it is very quiet and peaceful. The Bungalows themselves are lovely, with lovely terraces right on the sea. The staff are friendly and the Bungalows are cleaned every day. We highly recommend Bungalows Velazquez.

April Stay - 2 bed apartment

We cant fault anything with regards our stay. Yes the apartments could do with some updating but the cleanliness of the whole complex and the thorough cleaning of the apartments daily let you bypass that part. Plenty of sunbeds with no one rushing out to get one at ridiculous early hours. All staff were friendly and although reception only opens at certain times there is security. This was our first stay in Bungalow Velázquez but it wont be our last, would definitely recommend to others and we will stay again.

These bungalows are in a fantastic location but still peaceful and quiet. The rooms are a bit dated but the cleaning staff do a great job every day. Reception staff are helpful.
