Cómo llegar desde el aeropuerto de Barcelona

Taxi

Hay paradas al salir de Llegadas, tanto en la terminal 1 como en la 2. Puedes seguir las señales del aeropuerto para llegar a las paradas.

Autobús

El autobús hacia Salou sale de la terminal 2B y llega a Salou - Monument Jaume I. Los horarios y precios pueden variar en función de la temporada.

En coche

Para llegar al Calypso hotel en Salou, debes coger la salida 35 de la autopista AP-7. Circulará por la carretera C-14 hasta llegar al hotel en Salou.

MedPlaya Hotel Calypso, en Salou, destaca por la calidad y todos los servicios que ofrece, sus piscinas, su oferta de “Todo incluido” y su entorno familiar.

El Calypso ofrece habitaciones dobles y familiares renovadas, modernas, luminosas y cómodas, distribuidas en dos edificios. Todas cuentan con baño privado, terraza, televisión por satélite de pantalla plana, aire acondicionado, caja fuerte y teléfono.

El hotel ha renovado también su zona exterior de piscinas, que ahora incluye una gran piscina con splash park, perfecta para que los más pequeños se diviertan mientras los adultos se relajan. Además, cuenta con parque infantil, sala de juegos, bares, salones, un restaurante bufé y el restaurante Al Fresco. Durante el verano, la diversión está asegurada con un programa de animación para todas las edades.

3rd visit very friendly place great staff sadly the food is nowhere near as good as last year and entertainment has dipped Walls so thin it allows you to here every noise also no control over people on balcony at 2 to 3 in morning. Had a great holiday but came back needing sleep ideal for young kids

Amazing hotel

I’ve been staying at this hotel for eighteen years and still cannot believe that it is only a three star as it should definately be a four star . The staff have always been lovely , the rooms are always spotless . The maids are lovely and when you come back to your room after they have cleaned it , it looks and smells amazing as they spray a lovely perfume when they leave . The lifeguards teach your children to swim and have fun around the pool with the adults , they even let the kids push them in , which creates a really fun holiday atmosphere . Whenever you go down for breakfast , lunch or dinner you are always greeted by the lovely Rosaria , who has been there for the eighteen years that I’ve been going there and actually for 25 years , she always greets you with a lovely warm smile and adores all of the children . She is an absolute credit to medplaya . Then as you go in to eat there is a huge range of options . For example at breakfast there’s bacon , eggs , sausages , tomatoes ... there’s also Danish pastries , croissants , cold meats , a huge selection of yogurts and fruits , cereals, porridge, biscuits etc ... too many endless items . Throughout the day there’s the alfresco snack bar where you will find lovely chefs cooking chicken breasts , hot dogs , burgers and steaks on the outside barbecue grill . There’s also unlimited chips , salads , pastas , pizza and ice creams for the children to enjoy throughout the day . Lunch time can be spent at alfresco or in the restaurant where again there is a huge variety of foods from pork chops to lamb stew , there are usually around twelve different meat fish dishes to choose from and always items for the children too like chicken nuggets etc . Plenty of vegetarian dishes too and the original Spanish paella dishes too ... the desserts are amazing , my children literally take photo after photo of the amazing desserts on offer . These include gateaux , yogurts , mousses , blamanche, Crewe caramel , jelly , Ice cream , rice pudding etc etc ... you seriously couldn’t go hungry or diet here ! Dinner is just as varied and amazing . And for those people who have mobility issues , there are even tables set aside to make it earlier for you ! It’s those little touches that make a difference . Talking of little touches , it’s the only hotel I’ve found that has uk HP sauce !!!! The three pools are always very clean , well guarded , one is for inflatables so the kids can all bring their flamingos and unicorns etc and lay on them In the pool and the other pool is full of families swimming and playing . Then there’s a baby pool for the not so confident swimmers . There are sooooo many sun loungers that there were even four piles of unopened sun beds stocked up in their packaging . Probably at least two hundred that were still brand new in their packaging because they have plenty so you will never have to worry about not having a bed around the pool . Block two has had an amazing refurbishment and the rooms look designer . We had bunk beds that fold away into the wall which looked stunning ! Hotel calypso is about ten minutes from Port adventurer the universal studios theme park and Ferrari land theme park and also the same distance from two huge water parks costa caribe and aquapolis and you’re a five minute walk from the beach and amazing array of shops and restaurants . There are little boutique style shops and all can be bartered down with their prices . The beach is lovely sand dunes and boats can be hired for around 12 euros for an hour . In the evening you will find the absolute BEST shows . The animation team must spend hours rehearsing as they put on broadway like shows . These are comparable to the shows on the west end of London although they all do have a comical feature which leaked it even more entertaining . I’ve seen shows like dirty dancing , mamma Mia , Disney , Michael Jackson etc and the singing and choreography is very very impressive . This is what makes this hotel stand out from the rest . Just to add , I’m not affiliated with this hotel , nor am I paid to write this review . I am just simply being honest as I’m a single mum of three children and think this hotel is absolutely amazing ! Anyone is welcome to message me and ask me questions as I’m more than happy to answer any questions . But this is a genuine review but I just love this place so much !

Me encanta calypso

La unica pega, es que nos pusieron en la parte antigua del hotel, una cama no se podia dormir de los muelles supongo de el uso, los termostatos de la habitacion uno estaba roto y era dificil poner la temperatura deseada... por lo demas bien. Para nuestra prixima estancia pediremos l parte nueva del hotel,
