We stayed at the Mena Plaza for a short break from mid week to weekend and were very pleasantly surprised. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and were surprised that this was listed as a hotel as it definitely feels more like a hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and good quality food. I would definitely recommond this hotel and the absolute bonus is the location, which is just behind the main square. Perfect for a couple and would recommend getting a room with a balcony as the sun hits it for most of the day and is plenty big enough to sunbath or relax with a drink in the evening. We did not have time to sit around the pool, but it looked very relaxing and the sunbeds were of a very good quality. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful and there was always someone on reception. The hotel also has a bar and cafe added to the front again it was very pleasant sat outside and the service was good. The cafe seems to serve as a meeting place for locals, which was lovely to see. All in all very happy with our stay at the Mena Plaza.

Sólo hemos estado una noche, pero la experiencia ha sido muy positiva: la ubicación del hotel en pleno centro de la ciudad, habitación amplia, cómoda, limpia y la amabilidad de los empleados. Eso sí, lo mejor reservar parking, es complicado aparcar en la zona.

This is an excellent hotel, rooms are lovely, clean and bright with a nice en suite. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Excellent choice of food for breakfast, the only complaint I could make is that the breakfast could have been warmer. All in a a lovely quiet hotel in a perfect locayionhat I would definitely recommend

Our stay was wonderful, the hotel is very central and service from staff was excellent, our room with balcony overlooking the square was perfect, we intend to return to this hotel.

Lovely vacation

We have been to this hotel already second time and it is simply the best. Great location that is close to the absolute center of Nerja but also very quiet and calm neighbourhood. There is also a great restaurant with a little bit of everything downstairs. The whole hotel was very clean and the stuff was always smiling and helpful. Hope to come back again!
