Transport from Girona Airport:
Taxi
The taxi rank is located at the airport exit. The distance is 33 km and the fare is approximately €48 per journey. A surcharge may apply for luggage, public holidays or night services.
Bus
The bus stop is next to the arrivals terminal. Take a Barcelona Bus to Girona Station and then a Moventis/Sarfa bus to Platja d’Aro. The hotel is 1.5 km from the bus station.
By car
Leave the airport and take the C-25 road towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols–Platja d’Aro. At Cassà de la Selva, take the C-65 towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols–Platja d’Aro. Upon reaching Santa Cristina d’Aro, continue along the C-31 towards Platja d’Aro. Take exit 314 towards GI-662 to the town centre. Enter via Avinguda Castell d’Aro. At the second roundabout, take the first exit onto Carrer Juli Garreta until you reach another roundabout, then take the first exit to Avinguda S’Agaró. Continue along Avinguda S’Agaró and at the first roundabout take the third exit onto Carrer Sant Sebastià, turn right onto Calle Onze de Setembre. After a few metres, turn right onto Pasaje Bolívar. Ok so we stayed here last year when it was a 3 star hotel and enjoyed it , this year it had gone to 4 stars , quite why I dont know as nothing has changed apart from perhaps slightly better food . In my opinion this is not a 4 star hotel maybe 3 and a half , just some basic things are not there , things like there is NO wine list menu so they have to show you the bottles and then find out the price crazy , in the mens toilet downstairs the hand dryer was not working and there was NO PAPER TOWLES , that is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel . BUT the staff were great , the room was very nice , lovely pool so a good time was had . We were there for 4 days 2nd week in September and it was quite busy , if you hit the peak time for Breakfast or Dinner it was CRAZY busy , So would I go back there again ? YES absolutely I would , just maybe not in July or August .

Nous sommes venus hors saison, fin septembre. Létablissement est bien situé, son rapport qualité prix est est correct. Nous navons pris que le petit déjeuner qui est copieux et divers. Les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables. Pour nous, le seul et grand bémol a été une demande dun petit endroit pour mettre nos vélos pour la nuit. 18 € le parking par nuit pour 2 vélos, jai pas trouvé cela très sympa. Je suis sûr quavec un peu deffort, on aurait pu leur trouver un petit coin où les protéger, comme on nous le propose dans tous les hotels où nous avons été. Du coup, on est reparti de Playa DAro sans nos vélos, même avec 3 antivols, on nous les a volé. Cette mésaventure nous a bien gâché la fin de nos vacances.

Séjour agréable.avec un excellent personnel à l’écoute et sympathique.repas et déjeuner ras très bien les alentours de platja d’aroo sont magnifiques plages et jolie centre ville propre et animé.

Hemos estado en pareja en hotel Monterrey, muy cómodos en la habitación, limpieza bien, la comida muy buena, nos ha faltado la pensión completa, por poner un pero, para poder degustar los arroces , que por la noche no apetecen, tenían muy buena pinta, la atención de los camareros en el comedor, excelente, muy amables y serviciales, en general el personal del hotel amable y educados, la ubicación excelente, súper cerca de la playa y a escasos metros del centro, sin duda repetiremos, hemos estado 12 días de fábula, volveremos

Très court séjour dans votre hôtel , Dommage le prix de 3.5€ par personne pour les boissons un peut trop cher surtout quand 2 personnes sur 3 en profite et que ce soit applicable pour tout le séjour . Nourriture correcte et variée , petit bémol pour la salle du restaurant ayant une acoustique très mauvaise, beaucoup trop de bruit quant ont mange. nous navons pas profité du parking de lhôtel prix trop élevé la situation par rapport à la plage ne pourrait être mieux 80m Hôtel rapport qualité prix très correct après ces petits inconvénients!
