Transport from the airport:
Taxi
The taxi rank is located just outside the airport. The cost is between € 25 and € 35 per way. There may be a supplement for luggage, holidays and night services.
Train
It is located a few meters from the airport. Take the train to Fuengirola, which runs every 30 minutes. The station where you will have to get off to get to the hotel is Arroyo de la Miel. The journey is 20 minutes and the price of the ticket is 2.50 € per person approximately. From the center of Arroyo de la Miel, take the bus nr 103 that will leave you at Avenida de las Palmeras, which is located on the street parallel to the hotel.
By car
By the motorway A7, taking exit 222 Benalmádena - Arroyo de la Miel. Turn left next to the Galp gas station, and continue straight ahead down towards the beach. When you reach a roundabout with windmills, turn right and continue straight ahead. A few meters to the right you can see the hotel. Turn right again at the next roundabout to reach the entrance.

We come to Playa daro every year for the last 20 plus years twice this year , we always stay in the centre part of town but thought we would venture down this end for a change . This is a nice hotel with a lovely swimming pool area , an outside bar and seating area that was nice . The location is where it is at the end of the beach , so we came September 16th for 3 days and the area was very quiet . But there were no kids so that was a bonus , 18 euros to park your car in the hotel car park was very expensive for September . The staff were very nice , the hotel bar was very nice , but the restaurant was VERY noisy and the opening times were not true , it said breakfast was until 10am , but at 10am all the food lights were turned off and food was being taken away , so dont get there after 9.45am . Would I go again ? Probably yes . They are trying for 4 stars next year , and good luck to them , but the food will have to improve for a 4 star hotel .

Bonjour, cest la 3éme fois que nous venons passer 10 jours en septembre dans cet hotel.Les 2 premiéres fois ,ce fut trés correct,en partie grace au chef de reception:Hernan.Celui-ci est parti:licencié ou parti de lui-même,no lo say?Mais cette fois-ci,outre que le personnel et la propreté sont toujours au rdv,la nourriture est infecte!de la nourriture pour cochons,rien que du trés bas de gamme,et le pompon,et là,lhotel Monterrey ny est pour rien,la clientéle est devenue hyper bas de gamme:les Tuches et Deschiens en majorité,lhorreur!toutes personnes quon a juste envie de fuir! Nous ny reviendrons plus,hélas!

Très bon accueil à larrivé, petit déjeuner copieux avec beaucoup de choix ainsi que le repas du soir. Endroit très calme à moins de 100m de la plage avec piscine. Très bon rapport qualité prix.
