Transport from the airport:
Taxi
The taxi rank is located just outside the airport. The cost is between € 25 and € 35 per way. There may be a supplement for luggage, holidays and night services.
Train
It is located a few meters from the airport. Take the train to Fuengirola, which runs every 30 minutes. The station where you will have to get off to get to the hotel is Arroyo de la Miel. The journey is 20 minutes and the price of the ticket is 2.50 € per person approximately. From the center of Arroyo de la Miel, take the bus nr 103 that will leave you at Avenida de las Palmeras, which is located on the street parallel to the hotel.
By car
By the motorway A7, taking exit 222 Benalmádena - Arroyo de la Miel. Turn left next to the Galp gas station, and continue straight ahead down towards the beach. When you reach a roundabout with windmills, turn right and continue straight ahead. A few meters to the right you can see the hotel. Turn right again at the next roundabout to reach the entrance.

The Hotel Alba Beach (prev. Balmoral) has a small private parking area at the side of the hotel. There are a limited number of spaces available and therefore we are unable to take forward reservations for the parking spaces. Parking can be paid for on arrival at the hotel when checking in, if there are places available.
The price for a parking space is from 5-15€ per day dependent on the month of the year.

Stayed for 10 nights just b&b. Couldn’t fault the breakfast, plenty of it. Had a superior room with a fridge, & kettle, teacoffee. We had a lovely view over the sea, with plenty of sun. Cleaned everyday with fresh towels. All the staff are wonderful & helpful. Really enjoyed our stay, & booked again for OctNov, for 23 nights this time.

Me and my wife stopped here at the end of February for 6 nights HB all the staff are so friendly and polite, the was always plenty of choice in the restaurant, and the bar staff always welcomed us with a smile especially the bar manager Paco nice guy, the are plenty of restaurants local, so for Indian food its Harrys, for uk food its got to be Witherspains so cheap, and oceans for fish and chips, we tried to book our room on the last day because of the late flight time £15 till 3.00 £30 till 6.00 the hotel was full so we couldnt reserve the room gutted, next time if the flight is late i will just book the extra day to make sure, buses are cash only normally 1.75 try and have the correct change the drivers moan and wont take notes of a 10 euro, but at the bus station you have to buy a ticket from the office and then queue, the trains are simple just tap your visa card on top of the turnstile and then tap out when you reach your destination. bottled water is a rip off in the local shops so best go up the side street to Mercadona only about 40 cents for a 1.5lt over all another great holiday
